Creation Spirituality has never been more significant for understanding and nurturing

wisdom for living in these dark, ominous days. I recommend highly Matt Fox’s Daily

strong, and on target as ever. His heart for the beloved community, each of us, and

those who suffer expresses itself in pastoral meditations also. He offers many

resources for understanding, standing up to and surviving this onslaught.

I have so much gratitude and respect for Matt. His love of life, being, wisdom, insight,

energy, concern, heart, soul, good humor, mystical nature and much more have been

and are gifts of Great Mystery. All his writing, teaching, lecturing, creative expressions,

and concern for the anawim support us in the present circumstances.

As a Creation Spirituality Community our presence has never been more needed to be

strong in resisting and confronting evil. Matt has accurately named the Antichrist in the

Maga Movement and so present in the Trump mafia.

In my contemplative times I have wrestled with how to pray for Trump. Frankly, at first, I

wanted to pray for his death. However, I know that is not an appropriate prayer. Jesus

said to pray for your enemies compassionately. Thus, I have come to pray that he be

released from his demons. He is deeply wounded. He is also bright enough to know

how to inflict pain on the world. It confounds me that the congress does not seem to

grasp the severity of his mental incapacity.

In the presence of all this Creation Spirituality is a path for immersion in compassion.

Our voices are enlivened for justice by grounding us in a deep understanding of the

dynamics of the way in which Great Mystery, the One, God, Allah, Creative Love, is

evolving the cosmos. This Includes diversity, complexity, and communion in the cosmos

which includes the whole human community.

Grounded in the wisdom of CS we can be spiritually and actively present in the way

each of us is called in being strong to challenge the Trumpian chaos. Individuals and

groups of CS folk are present to support and comfort others.

I’m also confident that although this chaos may continue beyond my lifetime (I’m 85)

that Great Mystery will strengthen and comfort us. One day humanity will be the

beloved community. Lives and actions rooted in Creation Spirituality will help facilitate

the evolution of it. CS fosters a clear-eyed spirituality for living through the times and

being a vital part of the unfolding of what comes after.

The educational opportunities, the gatherings, the various other opportunities which

CSC provides are rich resources for our minds, hearts, and souls. They are also a rich

opportunity to be together with soul mates in the journey
