First Thursdays: Global Kinship

Join Penny Andrews and Bob Isenberger at 4:00 PM ET, register here, for conversations that explore consciousness, struggle, and the deeper texture of our unfolding global community.

Global Kinship is a monthly webinar series inviting reflection on the Noosphere, spiritual depth, and our shared life in the world.

Speakers from all walks of life and spiritual and cultural traditions are invited to share the stories of their philosophies and spiritual and communal practices.

Monthly Webinars

Presenters:  Penny Andrews, Bob Isenberger

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin proposed the concept of the Noosphere as the next layer in the evolution of the development of the Earth, after the geosphere (inanimate matter) and the biosphere (biological life).   Together human reason and scientific thought have created, and will continue to create, the next evolutionary geological layer. This geological layer is part of the evolutionary chain.

Global Kinship webinars offer the opportunity to learn about ways in which the Noosphere is showing up in the world today.   By learning of the work others are doing to address the ills and challenges of our world, we become encouraged and perhaps even inspired to continue and expand upon our own efforts.

Your hosts open and close the session with song, chant, poetry or other centering practices; our guests then utilize the remainder of the time to describe the work they do, the projects they're involved with and the results they and others have generated, and respond to audience questions.
