Deidre B. Combs

Deidre Combs is the author of The Way of Conflict, Worst Enemy, Best Teacher and Thriving Through Tough Times. A professional facilitator, executive coach and management consultant, she founded Combs & Company in 1994 to provide leadership and organizational development, strategic planning and team building services. Combs was previously employed by IBM in project management and marketing leadership roles specializing in healthcare solutions. Her past clients include Aveda Corporation, Landmine Survivors Network, the US Forest Service, Government of Costa Rica and Georgetown University. Dr. Combs has served as a leadership development professor at Columbia University, University of Creation Spirituality/Naropa University,  and at Montana State University. Since 2007, she has also taught intensive leadership development courses to thousands of State Department-selected students, teachers, activists and professional leaders from over 87 different countries.
