Youth Voice and Vision Award
Creation Spirituality Communities honor the sacredness of the Universe that lives in each of us and in all beings. We work with others to protect Earth and all Creation. We are all living through a time of climate catastrophe, diminishing democracy, and increasing inequality of wealth and opportunity. Our response to these challenges is Defiant Love – a resilient love that protects people, communities, and Earth as we weather these crises and build a better future together.
YOU will inherit this increasingly complex and challenging world. We invite you to let your voice be heard. How are the current challenges affecting you? Share your vision of a future that you and Mother Earth deserve. The CSC Youth Voice and Vision award is an opportunity for you to express yourself on these issues via video and potentially receive a $1000 CASH AWARD for your efforts.
Who: All high school and middle school students are invited to participate.
What: Submit a video sharing your feelings, frustrations and hopes as a child of Earth. The video might look like a wish, plan, dream, lament, prophecy, myth, or new sacred promise. All forms are welcome – storytelling, spoken word, rap, poetry, dance, music, images, artwork, etc. It’s about you expressing you. You may work alone or as a team. Recommended video length is three minutes or shorter; you can go longer if you need to, but please keep it under five minutes.
How: You and your parent/guardian must first fill out and submit the Initial Entry Form at this link: https://form.jotform.com/262317281749059. All members of your team must complete a form. After you submit your form, we will be in touch about how to upload your video. The deadline for submitting your video is October 2, 2026.
Cash Awards: CSC’s panel of judges will evaluate each submission based on quality, creativity, and how well your film helps other young people to foster their awakening to Spirit and their desire to protect Earth and all its inhabitants. The submissions that best meet these three criteria will be announced at CSC’s Annual Gathering on October 30-November 1, 2026. Cash awards of $1000 each will be given to the two students (or teams) submitting the strongest videos. If there are any questions, email Bob Kent at rwkentjr@outlook.com
